So, 2015 is almost over and it's time to start a new year. 2015 had been very nice, and this post is going to be a TB to some of my favorite looks. Check them out and let me know which one is your favorite.
Hey everyone, I hope you are having amazing holidays. I am super excited to show you the dress from my latest collection. It's a simple dress that can be worn with almost everything. I was lucky that weather in NYC is so beautiful and had a chance to wear it in December.
I am looking forward to hear your comments about my dress and what do you think of it. xx
I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas, hope you have a beautiful day with your family and friends.
I am in NYC, getting ready to start internship and waiting for my Christmas which is in January. `Be good and follow me on Instagram for more of my fashion illustrations!
I didn't do a photography post in long time, so I decided to do it today. I did this photo shooting with my friend this summer, however, I only posted the pictures on my FB page, and 500px, so you may saw some of them.
Have you seen the new capsule collection from D&G?! I just saw it on Pinterest and have to say that I love it. It's a collection that should make every girl feel like a princess, on other hand which D&G collection doesn't make girl feel like a princess wearing D&G! lol Also, it as they said: "this collection allows the possibility for mothers and daughters alike to live the dream together wearing matching gowns..." ahhh...so beautiful!
Hello everyone, hope you are having an amazing week.
A couple days ago, I decided to start vlogging. Well, it' not official yet. I just did one video in my language, and I want to see how it goes. If the reactions are good I will probably do more. Also, the first video is in my language, I will also do one in English in the future, until then you can watch this one and skip to the part where I show my drawing process.
I bought this dress couple weeks ago in Springfield, it was a love at the first sight. I have to admit, the comfort of this dress is much better than how it looks on me, however, that's also not so bad.
Do you like history? I do, and although I am not a big fan of US history, I am the big fan of Martin Luther King, and his speech: "I have a dream.". And this is my favorite part:
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal."
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its Governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
Let's get something clear, this post does NOT promote smoking, it's just a theme of the photoshoot I did. Smoking is not cool and if you are smoking you are getting uglier every day, for more information about why you should not be smoking, checkthis website.
And now, let's get back to this amazing photoshoot I did. This piece of art happened accidentally and ended up great. I was not sure if I wanted to make is public it, because it does not send the right message, however, I trust you that you are smart enough to see this as a nice photography post and nothing more that that.
If you are following me on any of my social media platforms, you’ve probably realized that I love photography, whether it’d be to look at or taking. However, there is one type of photography that I do not like, or at least I thought it’s not that interesting. Wedding photography. For this type of photography, I thought that it was nothing special, same old things, same old poses, nothing new or impressive. Well… that was my opinion until I saw the work of now my dear friend Arnej.
When I got familiar with Arnej’s photography, I realized that even wedding pictures can be special and artistic. If you don’t believe me, check it out for yourself.
Guess what! I am back in Spain, ready for another year of Uni and graduation in June.
I am super excited to show you this post, because I just love it. It's my style, with my favorite colors and MyCalvins, hope you like it.
While the city that never sleeps is occupied with NYFW, my life is all about saying goodbye to the summer, my hometown and partying. Time to get back to Spain and finish the university. However, before that happens, I should publish this post in the casual outfit with a cool print. The dress I wore most of the summer and still in love with it.
Summer is almost over, and that fact is breaking my heart. I don't want this summer to end because it's too good. However, no matter how big my wish is, I need to get back into the real world, which is also not that bad. But before I go back to real world full of duties, I want to show you this beautiful place in old town, in Herceg Novi. It's just a regular place with old architecture and this beautiful tree as a decoration for this street.
The pictures from this post were taken couple months ago, on an event call Fashionrooms29. I was one of the designers who were showing her work in this very beautiful place.
The outfit that I was wearing is very simple and chill. I did not want to overdress because it was a event during the day time, but also I did not want to dress like I am going to school. So the shirt and the heels did the job, they made this outfit perfect for an event like this.
Kisses from Herceg Novi.
After two very exciting and fun festivals I am in Herceg Novi, my favorite place for relaxing. Here I am going to be until the 1st of August recovering from festivals and recharging batteries for the last month of my summer vacation. I will try to make one or two posts from here, but I am not promising anything.
Hope you are all having an amazing summer!!! Kiss kiss!!!
Hello my dear friends and followers. After two festivals and 12 days of an exciting journey, I am back home dead tired - lol. In this post I want to share with you my "EXIT ADVENTURE' from beginning to end.
The New York trip is over, and I am finally home. For the next three month my plans are only to relax, have fun and visit the summer festivals around the Balkans. Oh yes, and of course to wear my designs, as I did in this post.
In this post I am wearing the skirt from my latest collection, which you can check here. Also, I am wearing a mini shirt from Bershka, MK shoes and a backpack that I became obsessed this summer.
Hope you like it, feel free to let me know what do you think in the comments.
After an exhausted month at University, and two very excited shows I am finally on a vacation. Kisses from New York City.
The New York weather was not that good, but my mood was. It is so nice to see some friends after a long time and wear designs from my latest collection in Central Park.
I am back. Sorry for not posting anything for 2 weeks. I had so much to do in my private life and for my university that I lost the track of time.
However, I decided to make this post a little bit special. Here are the pictures of one of the fashion shows I was part of. These pictures are from the event called Marbella Luxury Weekend. I had the privilege to be part of the closing ceremony where I showed my latest collection called 'Black is the new good'.
This collection is inspired by the movie Fast and the Furious, or to be specific by a role from the movie that Gal Gadot is playing. This collection is for independent, rebellious young woman who are not afraid to show their attitude and say what's on their mind.
The most beautiful moments come unexpected...
It was the same story with this post, my friend needed some pictures of the dress she made for her portfolio and I was happy to help. It took us 15min to find the place and take a picture. The rest was my and PS job.
The name of this beautiful flower dress is Odori no Hana, which is Japanese for dance of flowers. Not only that designers made this dress, but she also made the print, which ended up looking impressive.
What do you think of the dress and the pictures?
For the past year I have been seeing this shirt all over the internet. I looked everywhere to find it, from Bloomingdales to Soho (NYC areas) and did not find it. However, this month I found it on this cool and very affordable website call DressLink. The shirt looks even better in person and the material is so nice. So if you are the fan of the lace as I am, you should definitely check this website. I will leave a direct link to this shirt under the pictures so you can check it out.
Hope you like it.
Here in South of Spain, summer has already arrived. The temperature is very high, beaches are the best place to be at, and the summer dresses are the best peace of clothing to wear and feel so comfortable. In this post I want to show you the dress that I fell in love with, literally. Beautiful summer dress from DressLink, with such elegant print and feminine colors. Also, the best part is that this dress is so cheap and the material is sooonicee...
After a long week, it's so nice to have a lazy weekend. Because of such an exhausting week, I did not have time to do a post I was planning to do. However, I will save that idea for some post in the near future. Until then, you can see one of the outfits I was wearing from the other weekend when I had a girls night out. Hope you like it.
It's a new week, and a new madness around me.
Hey everyone, I hope you are having an amazing week. I started working on my final project for this year, which means that the next few weeks are going to be crazy. However, I will do my best to update my blog every weekend.
The final projects at my university are the fashion collections, so by June I will have a new collection ready to show you all, until then I will post sneak peaks on my Facebook Page and Instagram.
Kisses for now.
Hello world, I am so happy and excited. Spring is here and I am on a vacation in my hometown Nikšić.
After many rainy and cold days, which were a big part of my holiday, the sun finally arrived. The first thing on my mind when I saw the sun and temperature above 6c was to go out and make a blog post with my very dear friend and also a blogger Tanja. (Click here to visit her blog).
Past couple of weeks had been crazy, I had two school projects and not enough time, so every hour of my day was spent working on it. However, after all that hard work, something amazing come out from it. The main idea of the project was to create a print, send it to a printing company to be printed on the fabric and make an outfit from it. Also, another part of that project was to make a bag. The project was very challenging, but useful. I am happy with my results and hope that you will like it too.
On our last day in Barcelona we went to visit the Sagrada Família. In my opinion, the exterior is AMAZING but on the inside, not so special. So for those who have only seen the Sagrada Família from the outside, don’t worry, you didn’t miss much.
Now little bit about the outfit. This outfit is no high fashion. It is a casual and comfortable outfit, suitable for everyday wear. However, this outfit holds significance for me, because I am a big fan of the Beverly Hills 90210 show. I bought it in H&M the first day in Barcelona. It was a must have for me.
Another cool place that I visited in Barcelona, as every other tourist does, is Casa Mila. Everything I have to say about this place is positive. Casa Mila is as beautiful from inside as it is from the outside. Check out the pictures I took of this place. I am sure you will love it!
While I was in Park Güell, without a doubt, I went to visit the place where once the architecture of Barcelona's most infamous architect lived and created, Antoni Gaudí. From the outside, the house looks so beautiful. However, then you go in, it looks much smaller than expected, needless to say I felt slightly disappointed. Anyway, the first floors contained Gaudí's chair designs, which I was not so interested in (just being honest), but the second floor was much better. On the second floor the view outside his window was spectacular, bringing feelings and visions of what once Gaudí saw during his days.
My Barcelona trip is over. I have to say that I had a beautiful time in the city of Gaudi. I saw everything I planned to: Camp Nou, Casa Mila, Sagrada Familia, Gaudi House Museum, Museum Picasso, Park Güell....
In this post I am showing you the pictures I took on my first day in Barcelona, in Park Güell. What I love about this park is that it makes you think it's magical. Not only because of its amazing architecture, but because of its incredible music while you are walking around... Yeah, a little bit later when you enter the park deeper, you will see the musicians showing their talent... Also, another amazing thing that this park has to offer is the beautiful view of Barcelona. Definitely worth the walk (If you are not big fan of walking).
This is the first post out of many from Barcelona. The next post will be about The Gaudi House Museum.
I usually post on Saturday or Sunday, but this week is a different story because tomorrow I will be on my way to Barcelona. Yeayyy, so excited about that!
Anyway, let’s go back to this post. I took this picture in the beginning of February. The day was so warm it almost made us think that the summer is just around the corner. However, our illusion was destroyed the next day. The outfit is really comfy and sporty, just the way I like it. *.*
Next week, there will be a lot more posts during the week than usual, and in them you can see how my trip in Barcelona goes. Until then, you can follow me on Instagram and Snapchat (montenegrogirl) where I will be posting pictures live.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you are having an amazing day with your girlfriend/boyfriend, or if you are single, a miserable one. lol, JOKING! I actually really like Valentines day, even when I am single. It's a day where everyone is talking about love, and the world is much more filled with a positive spirit.
So I decided on this day to post about something that I really love, which is my 'future' job. Pictures from the runway will be posted in June. I am so exited to show you my new collection, but until then I want to show you another side of my job, the crazy one but really fun one.
'I am tired, don’t feel my legs, I feel like a
dead woman walking…’ those were my words this week, but the sore muscles
in my legs were worth it.
This week (3rd of February) I went to visit Alhambra. A
beautiful castle once home to Muslim rulers, place defiantly worth visiting if
you are a fan of history and beautiful architecture. If you are visiting south
of Spain, I am recommending this place. Yeah, your legs will hurt so much after
the visit because there is a lot to be seen, however, it will be worth
Yeah, yeah, count me in the group of people who are obsessed with something so basic as an undergarment.
LOL, I can't help it. It's not only that they are so comfy, but they are totally my style. I love dressing sporty and looking sexy in it, so My Calvins are perfect for my wardrobe.
Novi Sad, a beautiful place with so much history and nice people. It’s a city that I started being a regular visitor not that long ago, and the more I visit the better time I have.
Pictures from this post were taken a couple of days ago, while I was on my winter vacation in Serbia, after NYC. The day was so beautiful that almost made you forget that it’s January. My friend and I decided to visit Petrovaradin Fortress, a place you have to see if you ever decide to visit Novi Sad. We drank coffee and enjoyed a beautiful view of the city. Also, there was a lot of gossip, lol.
Anyway, after a relaxing day, we returned to our apartment to get ready to celebrate the Orthodox New Year.
I hope you are having an amazing winter. I just wanted to announce that I am back to blogging. I took a mini break, because I had so much to do and take care of. Anyway, now that's over and I am back to posting crazy pictures, writing some nonsense, and letting you into my world.
Form now on, I decided to post more than just an outfit post. I have to admit that I am a lucky person to have been given a chance to live in many different countries and have an interesting life full of exciting experiences. I decided to share all that on my blog, so whoever is interested in the lifestyle of a crazy Balkan girl, you know where to find me.
